At this very moment, over half of children under five in Burundi are severely malnourished — leading to stunted physical and mental development. Even worse, this malnutrition, along with Malaria and other water related diseases, are major causes of child mortality. Precious lives are being lost to preventable causes.

This is not OK.

But you can help save lives and help children overcome malnutrition and easily preventable diseases in Burundi. Your online donation today will make a huge difference in the lives of many. Through Food for the Hungry’s programme in Mwumba, a poor community in northern Burundi, your gift will:

  • Improve the health of undernourished children and families
  • Improve livelihoods for vulnerable families and farmers
  • Increase access to educational opportunities

Time is of the essence — we must help precious children who are suffering in Burundi. Together, we can help restore their health and give them hope for a brighter future. Thank you for changing the lives of the most vulnerable!

You can donate to Food for the Hungry UK both monthly and as a one-off.
